Federation of Malaysia is located in South Asia. The country consists of two parts – the West – the Malacca peninsula and East – the island of Borneo. Western borders with Thailand and Singapore, and east – with Brunei and Indonesia. The area is 329,750 square kilometres. Malaysia is a constitutional monarchy.
