Beschrijving
In the imaginary republic of N’Gadala, somewhere in the heart of Africa, lives Ismaël, a family man, graduated in environmental studies, but a prisoner of relentless poverty. Between the silent humiliations, the gratuitous wickedness of an indifferent world, and the abandonment of those who should have loved him, he struggles to offer his wife and children a better life. This novel, carried by an intimate and vibrant voice, tells of his long ordeal, his failures, his loneliness… until the day when a spiritual retreat, led by a man of God, upsets the order of things and awakens his destiny.
